If you ask how long did it take me… It was a whole week. xD

I had got After effects and I wanted to give it a try. I practiced perspective and… Nothing especial. I will post Levina’s bio and you will understand this gif.

 

Warning: It’s very long. Like reaaaally long. Prepare yourself.

 

 

Name: Levina Sloane.

Age: 17.

Height: 5 ft 1 in (same as Leo).

Eyes color: Baby blue (right) and green (left).

Specie: Squirrel and dog mutant. Mixed.

Gender: Female.

Nick Names:

    ·         Lev.

    ·         Levin Hood (by homeless people).

    ·         Dramatic queen (by Raph).

 

Backstory:

 

Levina Sloane was a 16 years old student with fair hair and green eyes.  She lived with her father and step-mother. Both were nice with her but very absents because of their jobs as scientists.

Levina became independent and an animal’s lover when she had got her dog, Kaylin Juana Cruz. She came from the streets and she was called after Levina’s favorite author. Her parents didn’t deny the dog because they thought it was a good way to give her company. Later, Levina found a baby squirrel in a deadly situation and save him. She took care of him and called Hope Shakespeare.

At school Levina became very popular with her cousin’s help. She didn’t like the way she had to treat others for such attention because she acted like a different person… She had to be mean with unpopular people. She made fun of her teachers in front of everyone and later gained their trust with perfect scores in the exams. Levina’s fear of being alone was big but all the time felt guilty so she only did it when someone else asked her to. Only to show up.

When Levina is alone, she is calm. She loves reading book, all kind of stories, and that made her a very dreamy but dramatic person. She is very clever and observant, knowing what is best very fast but, unfortunately, coward too.

But one day she cracked. It was during a party, her “friends” called her to go with them in the garage. Levina met new people there, one of them was Snake. He was a friend’s older brother and a thief. Of course, his little brother brought Levina there because he tought it was fun. They showed her all the stolen things and made her chose something of her likes before selling them. That day, Levina gained strength and called the police. All her popularity went down and everyone spread gossip about her. Levina ignored it and continued like nothing happened.

On summer, Levina went outside of her house to buy food. She didn’t want to be alone so she brought her pets with her. Snake appeared and pulled them into an alley with the help of two men. He explained how Levina ruined his work and had to find another one, so now she had to pay for it.

Levina tried to shout but Snake threatened with hurting her pets. She asked for mercy, willing to do anything in order to save them and he accepted. He showed her the mutagen and how curious was about it. Of course, he threw some over her and watched carefully the big change. Then, Snake released her pets and left.

Afraid of her new appearance, Levina didn’t have another option than staying in the street and alleys with only the food she had bought that day. She didn’t complain because she thought it was well deserved. She hid from everyone and eat whatever she found in the trash can but it wasn’t enough because later she gave her food to her pets.

Levina knew she would die of hunger if she continued like that so she stole food from a market. No matter how many times she told herself it was necessary, she couldn’t handle the pain of guilt. One night she met a homeless person and gave her food. It was scary at first of her strange aspect but accepted. It didn’t matter how many times Levina tried to steal food; she ended in the same way: giving to others.

One day she felt extremely hunger and thirsty, she cried. A black and fat woman found her and gave her food. Levina felt so shocked because the stranger wasn’t afraid so this person explained that she was homeless too and how she heard about a strange spirit helping her kind. Levina moved with her. She was welcome with other people without home and started a new family. They gave her clothes and love, also they hided her from the Krang.

Learning about her new abilities, she gained a lot of information about every kind of people in the city. She decided to help her family and steal like one of her favorite story: Robin Hood. She built an urban legend using almost the same name, only changing the first part with “Levin”.

 

Meeting the turtles

After a whole year, Levina found the mutants turtles hiding over a building. She was afraid of them because she didn’t know what goals they had. Later she found out they were trying to help April and her father from the Krang. Levina didn’t move at all for them, she was so afraid and her body didn’t react. She thought they could handle it with all their fighting skills because Levina has none of it. But when Mikey was cornered in a dead end road, Levina jumped to help him without thinking. Later the help was mutual.

The talk between them was short and Levina acted very emotionless, like when she was human. She disappeared before introduce to him.

One of the nights, Levina got caught stealing by all the team. Mikey recognized her and mention to his brothers how they didn’t believe him before. Levina used this distraction to run away and, even if the turtles tried to chase her, escaped successfully. But it didn’t last long because the next night tried again to steal in the same place. She knew it was very stupid but she was desperate, the things she needed were very important. This time she faced one by one and learnt that they split out to have a better control of the city.

Levina doesn’t have a good stamina so when she met Raphael, she lost. Her acting of being emotionless disappeared and started crying for her freedom and stuff. Raphael was shocked of this sudden change and looked inside of her bag. He found pills and remedies. Levina explained how sick people need it but how her condition with no money only leaded her to steal. Raphael thought very carefully and decided to let her go but Levina said she will return the favor. He lied to his brothers and told she has escaped again.

That debt was paid when she found Mikey falling from the rooftops, ending without consciousness. Apparently, the building was on fire and it would explode soon so Lev took him to her home. Mikey woke up later and officially introduce to Levina, creating a new friendship.

First she acted in front of him without emotion while taking care of him, but as time passed she began to show her true form. While Mikey recovered and knew the vagabonds, Levina learned that he was not a bad person and had no hidden intentions so she soon became attached to him. Little by little, the relationship became so strong to consider him as a possible brother improved. She never had one.

Mikey returned to the lair only when he was fully recovered and with the company of Levina. She insisted to go with him. When they arrived in the lair together, everyone rejected Lev. Mikey tried to explain she wasn’t evil but his brothers didn’t believe him because Levina was a thief and had a strange attitude. After that statement, the female mutant decided to act as someone cold and told them she would help with information in exchange for food and medicine so she won’t find necessary to steal. It was difficult decision but Leo and Splinter accepted because they found it fair. The three turtles kept an eye on Levina at first but later they found out she wasn’t dangerous.

Raphael was the only one dealing with distrust and showed it clearly to Levina because he had seen her acting different, especially when Lev thought she was alone with Mikey in the city. He threatened her to leave his brother alone because she was manipulating him, that she only needed to see Leo with useful information. Levina became desperate and offered all the true about her if that would make him change his mind.

Levina showed Raphael how she lived and why Mikey was always eager to see her. Her big family wasn’t afraid of his appearance. She explained the information she got it was from them because the bad ones underestimate homeless people. Later, she told him how she ended there and how she mutated. Raphael accepted the true and let her be with Mikey. He also suggested acting like her true self because they wouldn’t hurt Levina. She listened to him and slowly tried to change.

 

 

Facts and aspects:

    ·         She cooks very well but really hates doing it. She tends to manipulate Mikey with teaching him if he does something that Levina hates.

    ·         She has got heterochromia because of her mutation. Her eyes color was green.

    ·         She lies a lot, especially about what she feels. She thinks it’s better to council and stay out of problems. And she does it very well.

    ·         She is bad loser. Levina avoids games and bets. Except playing cards because she wins all the time.

    ·         She is frivolous. When she was human, she wore clothes for other likes.

    ·         She can’t stand technology. This is the second thing that Levina can show herself very angry and without patience. She thinks Technology hates her but the true is she is dumb learning how to use it properly.

    ·         She is very nice with other. That’s a problem because she doesn’t take care of herself in order to help others.

    ·         She is not healthy. She doesn’t do gymnastics and doesn’t eat a lot.

    ·         She doesn’t want to learn how to fight or train.

    ·         She loves reading books. Her pets’ names are based in stories and authors. Even her nick name is from “Robin Hood”.

    ·         Her strong points are her legs. She can run fast and jump high but not for long. (Remember, she is not healthy.)

    ·         She is very dramatic, over thinks about little things and gets scary.

    ·         She is sometimes hypocrite. For example, she hates when someone lies to her.

    ·         Her real mother moved to another country, that’s why she lives with her father.

    ·         Her step mother’s name is Annie Sloane. Levina changed her surname to show that she accepted her as part of her family. (She is a canon character in Tmnt’s comic. Look for her for more information.)

    ·         Donnie thinks she has autophobia.

    ·         She feels very uncomfortable around April because Levina bullied her before as human. Not to mention she didn’t try to help her from kidnapping.

    ·         She lives in an abandoned shoe factory with other homeless people. She uses the office as her bedroom, far away from them.

    ·         The less she talks to is Leo. Mostly when she gained a new information. Levina always ends giving critics about Space heroes while he is watching. Book’s fault.

    ·         Raphael hates her when she is very concern for other because he knows how ill she would get for them. He also tries to convince Levina to quit the “Levin Hood” job.

    ·         She sometimes goes in patrol with the team but she prefers waiting for them in the lair.

    ·         She feeds and plays with Spike (later Chompy) when Raphael is out.

    ·         She collects color pencils as a hobby.

 

 

Personal opinion:

 

I made her that way because I want someone as the turtles’ contrast. Someone that no needs to be a ninja to be a part of the team. Someone that can help but with limits.

I did Levina as a fighter before but felt absolutely wrong with her background. She knew to defend herself but got mutated? Nope. What about later training? She is a very coward person, it would need a lot of to actually make her mind about heroic stuff. I know she steal but she is carefully picking which ones. (Imagine stealing the mafia, she would be dead. xD)

And of course, I wanted to give her good and bad points. Everyone make mistakes and doesn’t have a perfect life. In one hand, with her human form, she would be with bad influence and make everything to stay with them. On the other had with her mutation form, she would do good things but failing taking care of herself. Extremes situations that Levina needs to learn how to balance. Of course, it won’t be fast.

Also, I included characters in her story that won’t affect them in their form of being. Snake for example. We know almost nothing about his past. How did he ending with the Krang in the first episode? I wanted to add a little there.
